Here’s A Story On How Me And My Kids Built Our First Chicken Coop In The Backyard; We lacked the proper Chicken Coop Designs at that time but I think our chicken house became nice after all 
A couple of years back, me and my kids wanted to get some chicken to keep in our backyard as pets and eventually when they grew older we plan to still keep them and maybe get an egg or two for breakfast. My husband is a lot out of town so the whole process was kind of up to me and my then 7 and 12 year old daughters to figure out.
After we found out where to get the chickens (we named them Cheeky and Daffy after some cartoon characters I think) we found a perfect spot in or backyard for the coop. One thing we hadn’t thought of though; how to we build the chicken coop or should we buy a pre-built one? Chickens, while being lovely creatures are not awfully acceptable when you try and engage with them, so when building a coop you have to recollect to give them a lot of space so that they can run away from folks if they so want. As I am sure you have noticed there are plenty chicken coop designs found on the internet. With all these designs floating around how do you know what to look for and what to steer clear of?
